Prince Johan Friso of the Netherlands who was injured in an avalanche last week, may never revive from the state of coma. The Dutch prince who is currently under treatment in Austria was on a skiing holiday in the Austrian resort, Lech when an avalanche struck. He remained buried beneath snow for 15 minutes before the rescue team reached him.
MRI scans reflect extensive brain damage as a result of the accident.
The prince will soon be moved to a private clinic for further treatment but doctors say that it can take years before he regains consciousness – if at all.
